Windows 10 and the annoying hot corner
Like many of you I waited until almost the last possible minute to upgrade from 7 to 10. I am really happy that I waited as several of my older programs did not get lost as they would have earlier.
After the upgrade all seemed fine and then the screen started blanking out the open window and showing the desktop when i moved the mouse off of the open window. I upgraded the video driver. I turned off all tablet functions and still the problem continued.
I may be the last person in the world to learn this and I might be making a fool out of myself by posting this but if it helps just one of you I am pleased. This isn't a problem. It is a function of windows to show the desktop which apparently was a part of 7 that I never discovered.
. .
When you drag the mouse pointer down and past the little bar that is to right of notifications your window disappears and the desktop is shown and there is no way to disable it without installing some third party software. I suppose we have to learn to live with it.
My personal opinion is that if I wanted Apple features on my computer I would buy a Apple product. When something besides my pond freezes over!

I didn't know that.
If you click there desktop is shown. If you click again some of your open windows open again.
LOL. I usually I use right click on task bar and select Show Desktop.
The fun thing about Windows there are so many ways to do the same thing. Everyone has their own favourite method to complete a task.

Re: Windows 10 and the annoying hot corner
I am very happy to report that the websites I read were wrong or not up to date ; the hot corner can be disabled in the latest win 10 release. The disappearing windows no more.
All one needs to do is right click on the taskbar, select taskbar settings and disable the peek function about a third of the way down the page.
Thank you Microsoft!

I did know about that, and i find it nice when you have a lot of open windows, just click down in the corner and all windows will disappear so you have access to shortcuts/folders located on the desktop

If I opened a lot at the same time I might also but with the shape of my desk I only find it annoying.

Well it least now people know how to disable it if they don't like it.

Mine is already off but I can click at the right end of task bar and windows disappear. Click again and they come back.
