If you wonder why Flash videos will no longer work on your Windows machine here's why:
Microsoft has released the KB4577586 update to remove Adobe Flash from Windows and prevents it from being installed again.

In September 2020, Microsoft announced that an optional update would be released in the fall to uninstall Adobe Flash Player and prevent it from being installed again on the same device.

Today, Microsoft has released the "Update for the removal of Adobe Flash Player: October 27, 2020" KB4577586 update to remove Adobe Flash from all versions of Windows 10 and Windows Server...

In case you missed it, Adobe is not updating Flash as of December 31, 2020.
When is the Flash Player end-of-life (EOL)?

As previously announced in July 2017, Adobe will stop distributing and updating Flash Player after December 31, 2020 (“EOL Date”). We made this announcement in collaboration with several of our technology partners – including Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla – which issued complementary announcements with more technical detail on what the Flash Player EOL will mean for developers, enterprises, and consumers using their specific OS environments or browsers...
