Running multiple versions of Xampp

Sometimes you need to run old scripts that are not supported by current standards.

Sometimes you need to test some newer script and your localhost server is still running an older version.

Maybe you are like me and simply have not upgraded yet. :)

This article will show you how to install multiple versions of Xampp on your local machine.

The Better/Easier Solution

Very important that you realize you can only run one version at a given time.

Well I did all of that and it does work.

There might be a better way which I will check out in more detail later. Never do today what you can put off until the day after tomorrow. :)
Why switch between PHP versions when you can use multiple PHP version at a same time with a single xampp installation? With a single xampp installation, you have 2 options:
