With a lot of jobs moving to work at home now because of the pandemic or businesses closing down programming jobs are moving to the freelance or contract business model.

There are lots of sites where programmers can bid on jobs around the net.

This article, The 15 Highest Paying Programming Languages Right Now, According to Upwork made me wonder:
  • Are those rates realistic? Are people actually getting those rates?
  • When you set your rate, do you consider your overhead? Even though you work form home you still have overhead. :) (computer, computer maintenance, internet, peripherals, etc.)
