Irfanview

Post by Accrete »

I have had Irfanview on my computer for ever!

I have used it for:
  • batch resize a group of photos
  • quick scanning then cropping
  • made a couple of slideshows
  • quick cropping of screenshots
  • viewing a folder of images
Oh, and when an image file is corrupt (e.g. wrong extension) it is smart enough to know that and try and open in the right format.

As mentioned in Digital Photography's Irfanview – The Free Program You Need in Your Photo Editing Toolbox article it is a nice swiss army knife program to have in your digital imaging toolbox.

Have you used Irfanview?
