And you have still have not updated to 20H2
It's fine, if you want to update, you should do it when you have the time

Re: Dreaded Windows 10 1909 update
I went into Windows setting and clicked "check for updates", but it indicates I'm "up to date". There doesn't seem to be any notification or push to update to the version 20H2 you are conversing about. I'm currently using Win 10 Pro.

Re: Dreaded Windows 10 1909 update
I did get it via Windows Update, but here is a link that also shows how to install it manually if it is not showing up in Windows Update:

Re: Dreaded Windows 10 1909 update
And i thought you hadn't figured me out yet
On a serious note, if the update is not showing up when you search for Windows updates, then it may not be compatible with your computer yet. But the update was released 5+ month ago, so shouldn't it be compatible with most computers about now?
Anyway, personally if it was me i would probably install it the manual way, and just accept that issues may happen that i would have to deal with. But i can understand that you may not see it that way.

Re: Dreaded Windows 10 1909 update
My experience with windows updates (at least major ones) hasn't been good. I'll wait for a bit and get to it - if I have to. In fact, well in advance of needing the next major update, I'll probably be on a different machine.J. H. I'm not sure how I would do that. I have auto update turned on and it does as it pleases.

Re: Dreaded Windows 10 1909 update
It's not always that these updates are automatically installed with Windows Update. Sometimes you have to go to Settings->Windows Update and manually chose to install these bigger updates.

Re: Dreaded Windows 10 1909 update
After I posted I took a look and saw that it was an optional update. I'm always interested in security but the other features did not float my boat so for now I am holding off.
If it added anything that anyone thinks is great I would love to hear about it.
