Anyone with experience Squid Proxy?

Post by Colbyt »

Do we have any readers that have played with Squid Proxy?

From my readings it seem to be at the head of the class.

Opinions? Yea or Nay?

Sorry haven't played with Squid Proxy.

The only problem I have with any of the caching things on a website is when you are editing on a live server you can't see your edits (e.g. changes to CSS) without turning it off and remembering to turn it back on again.

Somehow Squid has become associated with caching as that is where Google leads us. By default caching is not turned on in a clean install of Squid. Maybe it is not just Google maybe it is partly that is the info most people are seeking but that is the net result.

I will start another thread and ask a slightly different question.
