All the reports were positive. Several companies had a 90%+ rating. The first round of real people who receive it will be the final safety test and with any luck at all we should be on the way shortly after the first of the year.

Then the world should send a bill to China.

That's a nice Hallmark short video.

That crap escaped a lab and the people responsible should have to pay. If it was a US lab the world would be looking for money.

Parts near where we are, are back into "lockdown". Our specific area isn't, so we'll be getting visits from all other areas around here currently in lockdown. Those area populations total more than 3 million. I know all those in lockdown won't be coming specifically "here", but there will be more traffic from those who currently live in lockdown areas for sure. And while it won't bother me, because in reality, I've actually been living as if we're in lockdown anyway, it isn't fair to areas that are doing well to get influxes of visitors who may be spreading.

If anyone local to here has any thought about going to the local mall for Xmas shopping (which I personally won't btw - buying everything online for sure), there will definitely be more traffic there, given the fact it's getting closer to Xmas, but with added traffic because of the lockdown area malls being closed.

I don't know why they just don't lock down everything in this large populated area. It's for two weeks, then everyone has to play by the same rules. And, fewer people get sick.

You may be right, it just seems to me that sometimes the American government is a bit fast at pointing blame on either Russia or China. Do we actually know for sure that the virus came from China? Escaped a lab or because they eat bats, sound more like guess work then facts.

Sadly we don't and probably never will. Most all the governments treat us common folks like mushrooms.

I have been in lockdown since March. :(

Things are getting bad here. They loosened the restrictions on bars and restaurants. Last night we closed them again to inside dinning. Any fool should have known what was going to happen. You can't eat with a mask on and when people drink they aren't as smart as normal. With a positive test rate close to 10% if you mingle with 10 people chances are good one of them is positive.

There are a lot of people that still think the whole thing is a hoax and many of them refuse to follow the rules. Honestly both piss me off. An ostrich as the president does not help. :)

Watching nightly news, and getting more info on the upcoming vaccines show some light at the end of the tunnel. I don't see DW or I getting vaccinated until late spring/early summer. I hope by then, they'll get it right. And even by that time, it'll be late summer for most people here to be vaccinated.

The scary part of all this is, no one knows what the long-term effects of those that got the virus, or even getting these vaccinations, will do to our bodies. Hopefully the vaccine will not be an issue down the road.

Even Fox News is now being called left-leaning by those leaving the Fox universe and migrating to a new universe ruled by OAN, Newsmax and similar news outlets. I honestly don't get it.
