Sadly this is what our lives have become.
But I would rather be above the grass wearing a mask than fertilizing it.

Depends on who you believe or listen to, but some "experts" are projecting that number to increase to over 400k by years end. Maybe that projection is to do with people being indoors more. I really can't say, other than I feel for all the families that have lost loved ones.
Up here (and I think in the US as well) doctors are telling us, more than just recommending, to get the flu shot this fall.

DW read something to the effect that it is possible to catch the flu and covid at the same time.

Yep, that's what I've heard from some of the Canadian doctors that have been interviewed recently. Which is why, in their next breath, they say to get the flu shot.

Almost another month has passed since the last update I posted above.

Looking like we won't be seeing family this Christmas.
10% Of Global Population May Have Contracted The Coronavirus, WHO SaysAbout 10% of the global population may have been infected by the coronavirus, according to a senior World Health Organization official.
It's an estimate that's far higher than the total of global confirmed cases reported by governments. At the same time, it would mean that most of the world's population is still vulnerable to getting infected and this pandemic is far from over, the WHO's head of emergencies Dr. Michael Ryan said Monday...

Looks like Moderna's version of the vaccine may end up being a home run. Their stock is up roughly 40% in the last 2 weeks too.
