Re: The Coffee Shop
Show me the planters and the deck rail you want to hang them on. There were too many and different styles on HD.com for me to stand a chance.
Ours are a saddle type planter that just sits on some rails but I had to mod it a bit for our style.

Re: The Coffee Shop
The brackets we had are like these https://www.homedepot.ca/product/peak-p ... 1000466988 They are $9.98 a piece at the other HD store but only 5 in stock (we need 6).
The planters are your usual tray type planters about 36" long x 4" wide x 3" tall with matching water tray (which is loose).
Our deck railing is homemade (assuming) wood w/ 2x4 cap and 2x2 pickets.
Can't send pics till tonight.

Re: The Coffee Shop
Geez. Those are pricey.
You can make your own minus the cute little curl on the front. But if you don't mind putting a few holes in you deck rail I would just use a large angle iron for the the drop and a small one attached to bottom leg to trap the basket. Like this:

Re: The Coffee Shop
Let the mouse do your searching for the angles. They do come in weird sizes like 6x8 but a lot of stores only stock the evens, 6*6, 8*8 etc.

Re: The Coffee Shop
Well, with you two fidgeting around with brackets and such, I went out, on a perfect golf day and played 9 holes. Just enough to get the golf fix in. It was a good round also! Too bad neither of the gutter snipes were out there with me to validate such a nice round on such a nice day.

Angles purchased.
Rained this am but it is supposed to brighten up this afternoon so hopefully the planter bracket install project gets done today.

Re: The Coffee Shop
Run them through the dish washer before / if you plan to paint them.

Bah Humbug. Oh wait wrong holiday.
I really hard to force myself to not get up and set off a couple of string of firecrackers at about 5 AM.
Where you been hiding?
