And that is why most folks only buy one bird per year. They are completely sick of it by the time it is gone. :)

I know I harp on it at this time of year but have you ever had a Hot Brown]? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Brown

It is the most flavorful way to finish off the turkey.

If a once a year treat is going to kill me it was my time.

Many Americans eat worse things 5 days a week at the fast food joints.

"It may Kill you" may be a little extreme, but we probably should be careful not to overdo the unhealthy food :)

That goes for everybody, but it's probably a bit more important at our age :)

A treat once in a while should be fine :)

That's why I am having onion rings and fried taters for dinner. At 69 I have accepted that I am not going to get out of this world alive. And while I prefer to leave much later I am going to do what I want to do.

Of cause it's your right to decide what you eat. Just like it's my right to come with an opinion on one of your posts. Weather you agree or disagree, i still reserve the right to share my opinion.

Never heard of that before but it does sound good.

We toast the bread first when making tuna melts so you can pick it up but guest with a hot brown you would use a knife and fork.
