It's less money for me to get a new, combined Can/US plan rather than paying for a separate US call/data "add-on" to an existing national plan, for only one month in the US.

Sometimes just one trip can make the tech purchase worth while. Besides the phone plan, I researched the toll booths I'd be passing thru on the way, and ordered an EZ Pass transponder for the trip south.

Last year while down there, a guy at a car rental counter asked if I wanted a transponder for the duration of the rental (for a fairly sizeable fee). I said no thanks, I'll just choose routes without toll booths. He said, just so you know, getting around the state trying to avoid toll booths can be done on foot, or by horse. He laughed and so did I.

Anyhow, for this recent trip I was driving down all the way, and having the transponder for the trip was so worth it. I found that almost all of the toll booths I encountered are electronic, and respective toll fees are discounted by at least 50% having a transponder.

Also, knowing that without the transponder, the picture/snap of ones licence plate and associated fees as you pass thru one of them are insanely high. And, just gliding thru the toll spots without having to stop and pay manually is kind of nice as well. ;)

Choosing the less expensive routes to your destination makes a lot of sense. I'm currently working on my browser games website. I need to add some more images, and add the some of the image urls to my sitemap so they will show next to my search results in search engines. Find it kind of strange that Bing requires those image urls in the sitemap, to display them in their SERP.

I'm so far removed from the SEO/SERPs game these days, I unfortunately cannot be any help. There was a time I knew quite a bit that I picked up from some of those guys at WMP, but those guys either got out of the business, or had to get out.

Well, i don't need any help at the moment, just wanted to say what i was doing :)

Sadly some of the well visited webmaster forums are gone. It was also hard to see V7N go away.
