JH You could put everything I know about IPv6 on a pin point.

I bet both of you are loving the fiber. We are on the midpoint plan(500/500) and it does more than I need it to do. For the most part we stream all the TV we want and pretty much given up on the local broadcast stations.

I found the rental in Fla last year only had TV streaming apps, no local stations. While I didn't watch much TV, it would have been nice to see some local broadcasts. Am heading back down in a couple of weeks to a different place not to far from where the last one was.

My ISP told me, they have some issues with IPv6. So some customers(like me) will be without IPv6 until they get it fixed. So my IPv6 knowledge may not be so bad, as it was primarily based on me not making my router "talk" with the global IPv6 network(internet). :)

I do love my new fiber connection, and IPv4 seems to run without any problems.

Internet speed test

918.8 Mbps download
50.4 Mbps upload

Latency: 5 ms
Server: Toronto
Your Internet connection is very fast.

Your Internet connection should be able to handle multiple devices streaming HD videos, video conferencing, and gaming at the same time.

It's supposed to be a 1.5 download plan, but I never get that speed.

What's interesting are the cellular plans of late. They've maintained the same price, but have greatly increased download allotments, along with add-on's like unlimited Can/US calling minutes, plus unlimited data and text. I think I'm capped at 60GB per month. It was worth it recently, just for being in the US for 30 days.

I pay CAD19.56(converted from DKKR 99.00) per month to my my cellular service, i get 10GB data in Denmark and 10GB data in Europe and free calls in Denmark.

It works well for me :)

Last year I had to purchase a separate add-on to be able to send/receive unlimited calls while in the US. It came with unlimited texting and 3GB of data which was separate from the data allotment offered in my standard plan. The same provider began offering CAN/US plans this year which were very attractive.

I guess competition can be good for consumers. ;)

I don't travel much, so i don't really need anything extra. But if you travel USA once in a while, then there probably is some money to save by having an add-on like that.

Do you have family/friends in USA?
