Me too. I still like to keep at least some of the spacing in mind where possible.

Most people (even municipal employees - mayor, counsellors etc) have gotten away from almost all Covid protocols.

We can attend general counsel meetings by zoom (I think that's what they use), but for information sessions, like the one I attended, it was in-person only, and they clearly threw all protocols out the window.

This has been the summer of wet weather. Since we experienced an unusually warm spell in April, the weather pattern began changing to a slightly cooler, wet weather scenario. As summer progressed into late June/July, there has been at least some amount of precipitation almost every other day. I've not used my irrigation system to water grass or gardens for the last two and a half weeks. This will save me a bit of $$ as our water utility bills are crazy high.

The days are getting shorter, the weather cooler and wetter, and all I can think about is going south after the xmas holidays.

I look forward to some colder weather, but i don't think it will be good for Ukraine, in the middle of a war with Russia.

I've always wondered, how do you know when you've run out of invisible ink?

Kinda like, if practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, why practice? ;)

Let's be honest, we all know i am the only one in this world who is perfect. Of course that means i am not human, but i can live with that ;)

And in the category of not lying, how is the winter weather treading you?

I just got a 1Gb/1Gb fiber internet connection, so i am trying to improve my IPv6 knowledge.. And so far it's not going very well with that lol.

A belated Xmas and New Year's wishes to you.

We've had a really "easy" winter up to a point last week when we got gobs of wet snow, then a flash "freeze".

Since then it's been very cold here, but not as cold as the prairie provinces and some of the mid US states. One good thing about cold weather is that the sun makes an appearance for a bit here and there

In terms of tech, I upgraded to what's called an "Ignite" service for internet and TV. Pretty much the highest speeds one can get for residential service. The TV service is totally wireless now, and but for a few hiccups here and there (rebooting modems and tv boxes amongst a couple of home-remedy fixes) the services run pretty good. I had to go to the up-scale plan due to all the wireless devices on the network.

It's taken my almost a year to get all the "bugs" out, but it seems that all working fairly good now.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
