Ours leaks too. It doesn't roll up evenly either.

The one I have in the backyard rolls up nice because it's got a little manual hose "slider" thing, which means you don't have to use your hands to guide the hose over the roller as it's being wound up. The one in the garage is a manual unit without the guide, which dirties up the hands a bit as you guide it over the roller.

The one we have has the guide for when rolling up the hose but it doesn't move back and forth well by itself when rolling up the hose.

New hose holder - done!

Screen for window - done!

Got as far as finding the snake for the sink problem....

Got back lawn watered this am (in compliance with water restrictions).

They are going to repave the main driveway where we are in couple weeks. Can't drive on it for 2 days when done so have to plan some stay at home projects/get supplies in to keep busy - or just be lazy bones....

Hmmm. I've always moved the guide back and forth with one hand while rolling up the hose with the other. Unless there are new styles of units out there that predate mine (which shouldn't be a problem as mine are at least 8 years old).

I haven't even seen any municiple notices here about water usage yet. It's only a couple of weeks in, but it's certainly been a weird summer so far.

Sounds like all of us are experiencing less than ideal weather condition. Work early and for short durations allowing your core to cool between sessions.

Yes, very weird summer. Actually, the weird weather started here in the spring by getting really warm much earlier than normal. The May flowering perenial plants, were beginning to flower in April. Then we got snow in May. It's rained pretty much every day in the last two weeks. I haven't used the irrigation system during this two week period. Good thing - water here, is expensive. So, rain is good. :)

Carport power washed. Yay! No more grime to look at while at out the window. Now it needs painting..

Still warm and sunny here. Not the heat dome though. Mornings certainly easier to be enthusiastic about getting stuff done.

Tornado touched down in a city about an hour's drive north of here around 3pm. Some cars have been damaged badly and a couple have been turned over on their roofs. Some houses were severely damaged but no one was killed as far as we know. This sort of weather causing tornadoes, although not rare, isn't common here.

I saw that on Twitter. Glad you are ok.

Big rain storm in NY and in Europe also. Mother Nature certainly isn't happy these days...
