I'm pretty ticked at them also. :) We may set a new record for the high of the day (May 29) being so low. It is about 55F outside.

Our high today is 16C (60.5F). 65F tomorrow, warming up to the low 80's later this coming week.

(edited to mostly Fahrenheit for Colbyt) :)

It's 21C (70F) here at 4pm. Had windows open. Worked mostly in garage today.

Supposed to be 22C (72F) tomorrow while golfing. Sun and clouds. Was hoping on working on my tan tomorrow....

Irrigation system is working like a charm so far and watering the various zones at 4:30am, is so much better than 8am or 8pm. I don't think I've ever seen the property plants and trees look so good.

It really would have been nice to have this system a few years back when we didn't get any rain for over two weeks in the hottest part of the summer . It was really hard on the trees, shrubs, perennials and annual pots. It took a while but the trees and shrubs eventually got back to as close to normal as possible. I was talking to an older guy at the garden nursery back then, and he said where he was living, even the weeds in the fields were turning yellow.

It's going to be scorching hot around here for the next 5 days or so with a "feels like" temp between 34-37C. That's 93 to almost 100F. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's expected to be a "humid" kind of heat - might be even too much for me! ;)

I'm glad it's not that hot over here. Our current day temperature is 15-19C(59-66F), and that is fine weather for me.

Decided to "pull the trigger" and get a new driver for golf this year. I've got the new irons, a Titleist 19 degree rescue (which I'll keep), and a MIR Ping 3 wood that I'll eventually replace. I figure I'll get the driver this year, and then the 3 wood for Fathers day next year. At that point, I could be set!

That heat wave sounds nasty especially when combined with the humidity. We usually get a week or two of that much later in the summer.

Summer! It is not even here yet.

I think our ages factor in to the misery as we really are not setting many new highs.

Had tee times for Monday and Tuesday cancelled - it'll be 32C by 10:30am tomorrow. Thursday and Friday are looking like better choices.

No time for golf this weekend.

Still cleaning out storage locker. Pretty well ready for junk guys to come.

We did have a bit of a heat wave last week but by the weekend it cooled off and started raining.

Our hanging baskets like the heat wave. :D
