Re: Passing the Time at Home
By "two days a week", do you mean there are only specific days you can water lawns, or is it on the honor system?
Hand-watering our plants would take at least a couple of hours.

Ours is Wed and Sat based on even vs odd number address.
We usually do our hand watering after supper instead of laying on the couch.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
Just got our system opened a couple of weeks ago. We're now getting a warm spell of weather with little to no rain, so it's comforting knowing everything is getting it's due watering. The thing is, with a new system, it has to be tweaked more than once. They're coming out tomorrow to re-tweak some deficiencies. After all, the first time they came by to open it all up, it was raining a bit, so it's tough to see what's getting watered, and what isn't.

We are also getting a bit of sun over here, even thou it's still a bit cold weather we have.
Hope the re-tweaking of the watering system works out fine for you LMD

Re: Passing the Time at Home
We've gone from experiencing typical March-type of weather in April, to late-June type of weather in May. Mother nature has been drinking again!

Until now our temps are below normal but later this week there is the promise of some normal.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
The earliest appointment I can get for an AC service is next week - after this current heatwave is gone.

We had a warm weekend last weekend. Now it is cold. Had a rare thunderstorm Monday night but slept through it.
Got hanging baskets done on the weekend!

Re: Passing the Time at Home
The town is doing their annual sewer cleaning around this part. The trucks are loud and for some reason they're starting around 7:30am, if my groggy-cant-exactly-see-the-alarm-clock-time self is correct. With the windows open overnight now, these trucks are waking me up early!
