Re: Passing the Time at Home
Yes, i did. I kept my mother in law's standup vac. It has very good sucking power, so I used the attached hand-held wand to pull the stuck sock ball out of the pipe in the wall. Used it only twice - just for this purpose.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
Ugh - windy, and cold outside, but warming up a bit for some freezing rain later on. And yes, I need to go out for a few groceries because the bird took up a lot of space in the fridge, so I couldn't get extra milk/OJ and such. Well, the garage is now about fridge temp on average, and not freezer temp yet, so I think I'm good getting some extra today to negate going for groceries for a bit. Both kids at home are going thru just about everything edible and drinkable.

Pretty foggy here this am. Have to go get some milk and a few other things.
The fog is making it feel a bit chilly here.

Some union people (or those with a kind boss) were off today for Boxing Day being on Sat.
The sun did not make it out till later in the day. Supposed to be sunny today so need to get some yard tidying up done before the week of rain.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
Just looked at the extended forecast here (currently -1C and drizzle/freezing rain), and sadly, the current the temps where we stayed last winter (18C sunny), and the temps where we were going to stay this winter (23C partly sunny).
