Re: Passing the Time at Home
Well, the sun shines today after another dusting of overnight snow. I think most here, know that I'm not a "winter person", but if this kind of weather is as bad as it gets, I could stay the course till spring without much ado. However, as they say, "this is just the beginning".
The one thing that gets me thru winter, now that Covid has negated any travelling this year, is looking at segmented milestones. First there's Xmas. Then New Years. Then Valentines, kids birthdays etc. Although the days are still getting shorter, and will continue to do so for another two weeks or so, it may not be a bad winter after all. The days will get longer, to the point that the harshness of winter may be tolerable after all.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it!!

Now and then I watch some news reports from Florida. And yes, while that state is still a hot-bed for Covid, those palm trees and images of the sun glimmering off the surface of the warm waters down there are inviting. Not enough to risk my life, mind you.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
My son ordered a PC last Friday. They haven't started to assemble, never mind config and test. Yet, their guarantee is to have it delivered before Xmas.
Costco - I got a partial order today, and they keep pushing back the delivery date for the other part of the order.

Fedex is supposed to deliver one of my orders today coming from Old Navy (ordered Nov 26) so I had to get dressed as soon as I got up today. It's chilly here today. PJs and housecoat was warmer.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
I know. I had a meeting outside my home office today, and it's really chilly today here. Otherwise, I'm dressed in hoodie and sweat pants. Don't tell anyone!!
I see parts of Alberta are getting double digit temps for a couple of days. Not fair!
