I think what he did was fine, you came with a sarcastic reply yourself a coupler of post before his reply "I will alert the media.", and then you make a low quality reply yourself, and then he jumps in with the reply "Thanks for the interesting update.". Double moral is not twice as good as moral. ;)

Let it go...

I already looked and did nothing. That person had a name change and I don't recall what it was before.

Water always seeks its own level as do forum members.

I got really bored and went to workshop for some cleanup. 45 minutes was enough to make me ready to appreciate boredom. :)

I did learn (again) that touching the pins on a 4' tube you are changing while standing on a AL ladder is not real smart.

I did post a sarcastic reply to the previous poster, but would never do that to a senior member, unless provoked. That mentor tried rubbing me the wrong way in previous threads. He's a goof, and thats that. BTW, i started that thread years ago over there and since its so dead there, i posted something to keep the thread current. He chimed in on me on another thread over there too. I ignored that remark. He stuck his nose in, and should eff off.

In a way, it's worse when you do it to a new poster, because those are the posters that are easier to scare away, and that is not in any forums interest.

I have sitetutor on my friends list on V7N, and i think he in general has a good judgement. Of course we all make a mistake once in a while.

Whenever we crossed paths, this guy was abrasive and a jerk. I get along with almost everyone in past forums, except for maybe Tubby and one of his friends. Both, i think, were not happy when i went red on WPW. So be it. In another case, when i first came over to V7N, Ord and i didnt get along. Not long after that, and in the end (or when he left the forum) we were quite friendly. And, i was a little sad when he did leave. Sitetutor is an [please no name calling].

I always try to look at rule breaks objectively, and his comment in this case did not look much worse then yours. I think you should let it go, and in the future you can always report posts if you think members are insulting you.

The reason i wrote these posts is so you can get an idea of my thinking process, how it looks to me. If you want our little conversation removed i will gladly remove it.

I would also like you to know i do appreciate all the posting you have done on Informed Webmaster. :)

Removing parts of this thread is up to you. It still doesn't change my impressions of that guy. It goes way back - being abrasive to me, that is. Abrasive to where it might have escalated. Again, Ord and I butted heads in the beginning, but were friends shortly after, and continued as posting friends. This guy? No way.

Nuf said.

Nothing that happens at V7 affects me at all because as Scarlett said "Frankly my dear I don't give a d***. They treated the mods like mushrooms after Cricket left. They did nothing to maintain the site. They just want to serve ads and make a few beans. I can't believe that any of us feel even the most remote good or care about the place. Not going there is the best way not to get upset and I practice what I preach. :)

Not can we resume the regular scheduled programming?
