Enjoy. The short term forecast doesn't look positive.

Puttered doing laundry and stuff away from computer.

Tomorrow golfing.

It's supposed to warm up again next week here so may be able to get the weed killer down and later in the week spread some grass seed.

What products do they allow in your area? Here, they only allow sales of Scotts and Wilson's version of weed control management, which are as lame as it gets. They do little, if anything to control weeds.

Dreadful game of golf today. That makes two games in a row. Now I'm depressed. :?

So, I cooked the meat on the bbq. After dinner, I washed the pots and pans, cleaned the stove top ( it's gas with a stainless steel top, steel grates and ceramic heating elements - all have to be cleaned and wiped up). And, I swept the floor. I'm certainly not looking for a medal here, but the gutter snipes did next to nothing. They said they helped by putting a few dishes in the dw.

Yep. It isn't the cooking that gets you. It's the prep and the cleanup. If there is a lot of prep I do it in small increments during the day. That method does result in a few more dirty dishes.

Dw ate no burger and I only one. We did have a tater tot feast. Now I probably need to strain the fryer grease again. Sigh.

Last night, the local weather guy, kind of hinted that we might be getting a "warm up" around our Thanksgiving. Mid 20's. For how long, I can only hope it's a couple of weeks (wishful thinking). I hope it happens, because the next 10 days look bleak and almost November-ish. Ugh.

On another note - I go into V7N now and then, and last week, I revived the "count to 100,000" thread with something just to renew it and keep it from getting buried. A mentor responded with a sarcastic post. Then I found another current post from him that centered me out from a post I made a year prior, that was equally sarcastic. You know, for a forum that's pretty much dead, and only getting mostly posts from members selling their "junk" (and I do mean junk), I find this "mentor's" reply a bit insulting. How did this "mentor" ever get the title?
