Re: Passing the Time at Home
I saw pics of the snow in Colorado and Alberta on Twitter. Wow
It was really smokey here last couple days (on top of being hot). Smoke coming up from Western USA coast. It's a blazing down there. Pics from California are unbelievable.
Looks like we will be stepping back a bit on this COVID thing. Provincial Health Officer shut down nightclubs and banquet halls. Limiting how late liquor can be served. Another presser coming this afternoon. (Not that this really affects us)
Better make a To Do List to keep occupied for the next few months....

Re: Passing the Time at Home
I was expecting COVID breakouts news reports, now that "gathering" have been permitted. There were two weddings around here last weekend and I think 7 new cases were detected. smh
Kids in school are going to be affected, and then moms and dads will be next. smh

We opened the bars and relaxed some restrictions, the fools danced, covid numbers rose, we closed the bars and tightened down and the numbers started to drop again.
As of now we are doing virtual classes for grades 1-12.
Back to that list making.

Sunny, but a little cool today. Golf for sure around noon, then cutting the grass a little later on this aft. Probably get about 15,000 steps in today.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
Walking 9 today. I think i can walk 18, and will try that next week.
I walked 9 yesterday, and ended up with over 11,000 steps when i got home. So maybe 9000 was golf.
With grass cutting and other steps around the house, I might get 15k today.

Re: Passing the Time at Home
Take your time. I'll wait.
I think by the end of the night my watch showed a little over 17k steps, but that isn't my normal daily step count by any means. Far from it. There are too many days I will end up with less steps if DW and I don't go for a walk. But if I get 10K, which is what my watch is programmed for me to strive towards getting, I consider the dirty deed done! I will admit, my knees were a bit sore heading up the stairs to bed last night.
