My head is foggy this morning and while I should get out there and 2sd coat those last 13 boards I don't think I will. I have an 8AM Doctor's appointment Tuesday and hoofing it from the parking garage will be a chore with a mask and without an aching back. Both of them at the same time is unthinkable.
Hope you are feeling ok!

Rose of Sharon shrubs are magnificent shrubs with amazing blooms. Humming birds love them.

I'm fine. The hummers seem to love our red hardy hibiscus.

I'm off for annual checkup. I really don't want to go but could not talk my way out of it.

Good to hear about your health.

We see the hummingbirds now and again during the summer, but more so when the Rose of Sharon's start blooming for sure.

Off to watch the hockey game. Watching it on TV, that is. ;)

How was the game?

Temps are a wee bit nicer here this week. Maybe I can get something done.

I wore a mask for the over an hour yesterday; my longest continuous wear time ever. I honestly don't know how people do it all day long. The docs office did not have a no-contact thermometer so I refused having my temp taken. I don't think they liked but tough s***.

Our team won. Waaaahooo! Series tied in a best of 3 series.

Our weather is significantly cooler here too - for a couple of days, then the heat is back.

Here, we're in what is termed "Phase 3", which is a regional approach to open businesses as well as health related matters, which is a very careful and methodical approach to "opening up". Each province has their own rules, and certain areas within each province may have their own special rules depending on the covid stats in a given area.

In terms of going to the doctor's office, I've not been since late February. The doctor/patient protocols are now "virtual meetings" for general ailments/follow-ups etc. I think if its something urgent, but not critical, they'll see a patient. Otherwise, it's virtual or they suggest going to the ER if higher level issues.

For non-critical issues, what I can say for sure, is that phone consults are normal, as I've had more than a few of those. Whether there are other online methods like skype or zoom or some medical community app, for higher level needs, I can't say. I don't know much about skype or zoom security/protocols, but I would assume that any face-to-face consults would have to be on a very secure medium.

Other than the yearly blood work mine might as well have been a virtual meeting but it wasn't an option.

Never watched watched hockey it might be a fun sport to watch. We had a local team for awhile. Don't know why they moved.

Hockey is fun to watch, at least when the home team is competing. ;)

I started playing when I was 6. My kids started at 4 and 5. Now they like watching when our team is playing. Weird thing - the season was halted back in March due to get what. Now, they're playing a really quick series of games and the finals should be over by the end of the month, I would think. Then, maybe a month off, the draft in between, then then the 2020 season might start in November.

I think this will be the first time I can ever remember where hockey, baseball, basketball and football pro seasons will all be overlapping.

Off to play golf in the morning with DW - gotta get some shuteye.

It is like Fall out there this early AM. Yesterday only got to 80F, cloudy and low humidity. I did not even break a sweat finishing that deck which I'm sure all are tired of hearing about. :)

Deck? What deck? ;)

Blue skies, calm winds and mid 20'sC for temp today.

Home baseball team won last night. I think they head to their temporary "home field" in Buffalo, which for us, is weird. But, it's part of the Covid season.

Covid is doing a number on a lot of things. I just wish the young folks would take it seriously and stop the stupid parties.

Postponing your joy for a year is no big deal compared to killing someone you love or yourself.
