Thank you both.
The 31st anniversary of my 39th birthday.
Got me to second field position on the vaccine list and am scheduled to get the first injection on Friday.

When just a young lad (maybe 6 or 7 - and for many years afterwards) whenever I asked my father how old he was, he always said, 24.
The vaccine is apparently in short supply here and has more than a few people crying out asking what's going on, and what's happened to the supply. As far as I know, that, which is coming out of the Pfizer manufacturing site(s) is slow.
Good luck on Friday.

4 hours after and no problems other than being tired after walking a country mile to get to the injection site. They could have done a better job with the planning.

Re: Happy Birthday Colbyt
Lucky you! We have eligible people waiting to get the shot, but there's not enough supply on hand - apparently.
I think Pfizer just may be wanting to change the deal they have with Canada. Maybe we're not paying the highest price. Maybe we're not paying enough up front, or we're taking longer to pay - I really don't know what the issue is. Maybe the simplest answer is Pfizer is having a distribution issue. No one here knows.
But, here's what I do know: Our government is waiting for the supply chain to fulfill it's obligation (whatever that obligation may be) so that we can get needles in arms.
Actually, this may be a post for another thread, not your "birthday" thread.

I think the vaccine is working as intended. I now have a warm fuzzy feeling about politicians and am sure the government is here to help. Starting to believe we need more government and not less.
Now if you fell for that I have some prime real estate for sale.
