FDA recalls hand sanitizer containing methanol

At least 75 brands of hand sanitizer are recalled by the FDA. Most were made in Mexico under various names and contain methanol instead of or combined with the ethanol.

Several cases of blindness and death are the results so far.

I have checked that i don't have any of the recalled products.

I know it was imported products primarily from Mexico to USA, but who knows if they had ended up in Denmark. But you're right, it's most likely Americans who has to be most careful with the hand sanitizer products.
