Me and my little sister had duck as xmas food and i think it tasted very good. But while it is not so unusual as xmas food, i don't think it something most Danish people eat outside the holidays.

Roast pork, duck, Danish pork sausage, white and brown potatoes, red cabbage are some some of the popular xmas foods over here. Had to use Google Translate with some of the words since i don't know all the names for all the foods in English lol.

What about you Canadians and Americans (and everybody else) what is popular xmas food in your countries?

Not in any specific order: turkey, ham, rib roast, leg of lamb and sides dishes per entree.

Our Xmas dinner is influenced by British heritage,

Turkey with Paxo stuffing and sausage stuffing, lots of veg, roast potatoes and plum pudding with rum sauce.

Boxing Day (Dec 26) fry up leftovers for lunch. My Canadian friends thought this was great.

Had hot turkey on toast drizzled with gravy, some stuffing and veggies for the second day in a row. I'm done with this bird! And the last remaining slice of pineapple upside-down cake.

Yep, it sure does! Moving on to some sort of beef meal today. Not sure what type of meal, but it will be a welcome change. ;)
