I keep a couple of flavored syrups on hand and just add them to the regular grind. Also have been known to add a shot of Amaretto or Kailua.Accrete wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 6:20 pm If you are a coffee drinker, have you made your own flavoured coffee? We use to buy flavoured beans and grind them up.

Re: Creative Cooking While in Self Isolation
My BIL has an fully automated espresso machine. Probably $2.5k (maybe more). The grind is the same as my manual machine. The The taste is the same. The milk frothing is better on my machine, and my machine is never in the shop.

This looks interesting: JEWELLED COUSCOUS RECIPE WITH PUY LENTILS & POMEGRANATE
Colbyt mentioned not a fan of pork tenderloin. How about Stuffed Beef Tenderloin?
and Eggnog Ice Cream for desert!

I'll take my tenderloin sauteed in garlic butter with a side of extra large steak fries on the same plate.

Tired of the cooking and cleanup already this week. I surrender to Pizza night!
I had to look that one up. Is orzo pasta, or rice?Accrete wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 4:27 pm For those of you who like spicy: Spicy Sausage Stuffed Peppers with Orzo

Orzo is pasta:
WHAT DOES ORZO TASTE LIKE?The little beige slivers in rice pilaf, which are actually pasta, are the orzo. As you can imagine, they taste like pasta even though they look like rice.

I'm not sure I'd like it. But, you never know. Tonight, I think we're going to try the "one pan chicken-n-potatoes-n-vegetables" recipe from the Tasty app.

Re: Creative Cooking While in Self Isolation
I don't know about "Gingerbread" Pancakes, but pancakes in the morning is a nice way to start the day. My ex-girlfriend also introduced me to fried kidney on toasted bread, and i think it sounded strange, but after trying it as breakfast, it sure tasted great.
