Saving a lot! A good meal for 4 at a decent steak house, with one adult beverage each, and deserts, is easily $200.

However - with not travelling this coming winter, I'll be saving quite a bit. And, at least part of the $ saved is going to new golf irons.

Canadian Thanksgiving is in a few weeks so now we need some ideas for KISS this year. Highly unlikely it will be our traditional dinner this year.

Saw this: 9 Ideas for Thanksgiving at Home.

If we have appies there won't be room for dinner! :o

I think the cautious people should skip the holidays this year.

All the large "holiday" destinations (in the city) are pretty much cancelled. I think the Distillery District had a Thanksgiving theme that's been cancelled, and I just read the D.D. Xmas Market has been cancelled as well. 10-20 thousand people visit the Market each year since it's inception 10 or so years ago. Not this year though. :(

It is sad to think about but gatherings seem to accelerate the spread so common sense says they should be avoided. I worked way too hard at staying well for over 6 months now to give in to a whim. There will be other holidays that we can celebrate.

Breast only, very small bird, large chicken is about all I can come up this morning.

A few years back I bought an 11 pounder but I won't do that again as there wasn't enough leftovers. If you can find one that size you might have room for it.
