Cooked, in a gallon zippy, kept in the fridge it is good for up to a month. Breakfast, BLT sandwiches while I have real tomatoes. I assure it will not go to waste. :)

Maybe the grocery will put smoked turkey on sale and I will add a slice or 2 to a lunch sandwich. I have actually cooked as much as 6 pounds at one time before.

Bacon and bacon juice get a bum rap from the heart attack purveyors of manufactured cooking oils. Ounce for ounce the stuff they sell is far more artery clogging.

You should see how much bacon the Epic Mealtime guys use. I'll admit, it's gluttony to the max, but they are funny. OMG - their meals could be called "death star" meals. :lol:

They are from Montreal. They shows are on YouTube. They do the shows in English. Search YouTube for Epic Mealtime. You might get a chuckle or two.

It's because the last thing in the url has to be the YouTube video id, in the url used before "&t=479s" was the last part of the url :)
