I just finished typing a post with about 25 lines of text here, and it just disappeared - went blank, so I'm retyping it once more in hopes it doesn't go "poof".

Always save your post to the clipboard before you hit submit as that does happen now and then. BTDT, more than once.

I wasn't finished typing - it just went poof. The next time, I'd type a line - then copy the post. Type one more line - then copy the post - etc, etc, till I was done.

I was beginning to think DS was fooling around within the machine.

We didn't have any issues on the forum at the time you wrote the opening post, so i will assume that it was a human mistake you did or whatever device you use did.

It was on a desktop computer, no mouse click, no keyboard click - the post just disappeared. I could have moved the mouse, but definitely no click - right, left or scroll wheel.

Nuff said.

Well, it doesn't sound like a general problem on the forum, it's the first time i hear of text just disappearing while writing a post on the forum.

Feel like you are living in the Matrix? Deja vue .

Do you use FF for browser?

I've experienced, not here, some weird things lately. Others have reported a problem like yours elsewhere.

Using Edge for most surfing. I use other browsers for testing mostly.
