Its always been pricey. Normal cost - around $1.15+ for a long time.

Re: The Coffee Shop
State government is closing all bars and restaurants for eat in service stating at 5PM. Carryout and delivery is allowed to stay open.
I actually believe to be the proper course of action as most people are too stupid to follow a request.

Re: The Coffee Shop
Ya, I don't know about restaurants here, I think they're still open. Gyms have now closed though. The only exception is Snap and Anytime (for now).
The PM has closed borders to international travel (not Canada US as yet), other than Canadians returning home. International trade is still flowing (thank goodness). Canada/US borders are still open to travel, business and goods.
I wonder what tomorrow might bring.

I fear not good news.I wonder what tomorrow might bring.
But I suspect most of us will get through to the other side of it.
On a more positive note, we are having bread sticks with garlic butter or marina and a salad for dinner. A local pizza joint made them popular in the 70's and I know how to make them at home. For tomoorow I will have to visit the freezer and see what comes to mind.

I don't get how the markets can go deep red one day, then go green the next. Maybe it's still not a full recovery from the previous day's dive, but I still don't get it. Sounds like there's an awful lot of people making money on these little peaks and valleys.

Re: The Coffee Shop
Some are covering short sales, others are taking short term profits from what they bought on sale the day before. Some are getting cashed out because they bought on margin. The algorithms that drive the market are a big part of the problem. It is going to continue to be a see-saw until one day when it isn't.LMD wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2020 4:21 pm I don't get how the markets can go deep red one day, then go green the next. After what I saw yesterday I actually have some buy orders in place at a very low place. I watched P&G swing $20 per share in just a few hours. I'll take some of that action.

Gas going down another 7 cents at midnight. I've got 3/4 of a tank now. I should fill up. Will save a couple of $$
