The pause would be nice. The low flow not so much.

Shower head is good. Operates as manual and reviews (or at least most reviews) have stated.

Skies have cleared temporarily on this brisk windy day, and it feels like the tropics. Rain, very blue sunny skies, then rain again later on I think.

Time to get some vitamin D, and get out there to fix the rose of sharon that has bent branches due to the heavy rain.

Hockey on tonight. First of the playoff games.

My grandmother always pampered her Rose of Sharon. I haven't seen one growing for years.

My head is foggy this morning and while I should get out there and 2sd coat those last 13 boards I don't think I will. I have an 8AM Doctor's appointment Tuesday and hoofing it from the parking garage will be a chore with a mask and without an aching back. Both of them at the same time is unthinkable.

I don't get the point of low flow faucets/shower heads. You just stand under the shower longer to get the soap out of your hair to avoid dandruff. Equates to no water saved....

Low-flow is usually a disingenuous term. With a two piece shower head (crown and hand-held combo) for example, when just the crown is spraying, yes, its low flow, but not enough force to effectively rince thick long hair. When both crown and hand held are flowing there is usually enough flow, but not as forceful a flow as those not rated as "low flow".

I will soon test the one I've got installed now and report back, as i know how many litres were normally used previously.

Just curious what your water rates are like where u are.

Ours are buried in our annual property taxes where we have lived.

Ah. We used to get a separate water-only bill, and the sewer portion was buried (no pun intended) in the tax bill. I don't know exactly when, but some time ago - not really that long though - they took the "sewer" portion out of the property tax bill, and combined it with the water bill portion. I have a theory about why they did that, although probably not everyone will agree.

Taxes went up, so it's not like you noticed a lower property tax bill. And, the sewer portion is a percentage of water in usage - not water out. Which kind of pisses me off.

A lot of local governments are doing it that way to tax more than allowed by law or state constitutions.

Personally I think there should be a child education tax paid by the folks who have kids. Education is a big rat hole where the money goes. "But we have to do it for the children".
