They use to be in a bin near the packaged hot dogs. Usually 2 attached together like sausages by the plastic wrapper. Bit bigger than the packaged dogs but not huge.
Apparently we are having BBQ hot dogs next week... All beef hot dogs in a package.
Must be CN style packaging. Sausages I have seen connected. Hot Dogs singles, always in bags. Commercial bags bigger. Sizes vary, counts per pound 5-1,8-1,10-1

Strip loins tonight. BBQ'ed, with basic "pan" fries sliced thin. Love these with a splash of course salt. And, of course we have to have a vegetable - broccoli. Already had our McFlurry today after our hard session at the driving range. When the temperatures go up, so do the questionable shots! And therefore a need for a good McFlurry!!
I was torn between posting this in Passing time at home or creative cooking as it sure accomplished both.
Last night for dinner we ate homemade Potstickers using home ground pork. The wonton wrappers and the cute little crimper were the only purchased items. There is a leaning curve for using the crimper. I hope to do better today when I make the rest of them to freeze.

Oh, potstickers in the freezer would be a great quick lunch!

I also learned that for cooking purposes one can freeze Cilantro. There is a lot times I want it but don't go buy it as it does not keep well.
I was going to look up preserving Cilantro. I buy it for a Cilantro mayo from South Beach diet I like. When I make it I don't use up the bunch of cilantro. I'm the only one in the house that likes it so I can't use it up on something else.
We are having BBQ's Chicken kabobs tonight. Chicken chopped up and marinating as I write this.

Read a couple of different methods, on stalk or just leaves. I choose just leaves and chopped. No blanching required. Just break off a hunk and go when the time to use comes along.
Wife has her doubts. She did about my frozen celery also. If this works half as well as the celery it will be a winner.

Nothing creative about it but I am almost done cooking 5 pounds of bacon.
We were out and the local store that often has it on sale hasn't. I went to the wholesale meat house and bought a 15 pound box. Some of the prettiest bacon I've seen in quite a while. Vac packed the rest of it for later.
