Well, being single, i don't really make a lot of fancy food.
However one of the more popular foods in Denmark is frikadeller, often server with brown sauce and white potatoes:
I do think that Danish food is more like Canadian food, then American food.

There are various local variants of frikadelle throughout Scandinavia, as both a main course and a side dish. In Sweden, frikadeller are boiled and not pan-fried
