I sure would hate to have as helper for making Bourbon Balls. You would eat the fondant and drink the Bourbon.

That sure sounds like an easy recipre.
I was planning to start social distancing with my fridge but it may have to wait until I try that.

We use to have an ice cream maker. Can't remember why we got rid of it... Anyways those do look easier and tastier.
We all probably will be social distancing with our fridges after this.Colbyt wrote: Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:13 pm I was planning to start social distancing with my fridge but it may have to wait until I try that.

Re: Creative Cooking While in Self Isolation
This recipe in my RSS feedreader today has cream cheese and heavy cream Chicken Fettuccine AlfredoAccrete wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2020 4:28 pmYes. But it separates when you microwave leftovers. It is pretty easy actually:
1/2 cup of marg
1/2 cup of evaporated milk (think the original recipe called for cream. Have used regular milk in a pinch)
3/4 cup grated parm cheese (Kraft's in a jar. Tried shredded but it made sauce stringy like moz cheese)
Put marg and milk in pan on low to melt marg. Add parm cheese once marg melted. Whisk together. Pour over prepared pasta and chopped up meat.

Beginning to have fewer options for dins, but if it ever warmed up a bit more, I'd begin BBQ season right away!
Re groceries, I'm not sure if this link for "waiting time" lineups will work in y 'all neck of the woods, but you could try.
