What do you think? Should employers monitor employee activities, particularly online activities?
IMHO yes. From personal experience a staff member infected our whole network with a virus via a personal email received and read at work. It took hours to check each computer and the server to clean things up never mind the lost productive time when staff members are doing personal stuff on company time.
Maybe an isolated computer in the lunch room used on their breaks is the answer? What do you think?

Should Employers Monitor Employees?
I don't know how an employer would do that as most allow employees to connect to wifi and that places every smart phone on the system.
But then I would be tyrant if still working cause you would check in your phone at the door. You are here to work and the only phone you should be using is the business phone for business.
